The daily DISTRACTIONS that divert you from your goals will always be distractions that give you immediate pleasure; otherwise, they wouldn’t have the power to distract you…
This means that to achieve ambitious goals in your life, you will need to be very strong and mature to understand that there is a time to sow and a time to reap; a time to focus and a time to relax; a time for total dedication and a time for total fun.
We know that success is achieved only by a minority, and this is not a coincidence. Few have the discipline and determination to stay on the right path without getting distracted along the way.
Those who insist on maintaining a lifestyle without commitment to their goals, as if they fell from the sky, usually sustain this decision by convincing themselves that life is too short and that they prefer quality of life instead of stressing out. It’s the famous “let life take its course.”
But we all know that the consequences of this decision generate much more headaches than imagined, along with another type of pain that, over time, appears as a bonus: the pain of regret.
The summary is simple: Those who ONLY think about the immediate will not enjoy in the future. But those who understand that there is time for everything and dedicate themselves 100% when they should, will enjoy in the future like few, VERY FEW…
