Come on, do a quick calculation with me. You probably entered school at six or seven years old, a little more or a little less. For about eleven years, you were immersed in classes, assignments, and school presentations, after all, you had no choice.
Then you went to college, at least another four years dedicated to studies, internship, and finally you have a profession. For some, you also started a family with children, or everything at the same time.
Until the years passed, your routine was established and consolidated into the life you lead. Now I ask you: How many times have you had the feeling that your life is passing by and you have no idea where it’s going?
It seems that there was no time to empty your mind, quite the contrary, it seems that it has been filling, filling, filling. There are times when it seems that it will overflow. Have you ever had this feeling?
This is why there are moments when you need to stop, reflect a little on the life you are leading, or better yet, the life that is leading you is really ideal for you and your family. Ah! Okay. You must be wondering: Talking is easy, let’s see what you can do.
I know very well how you are feeling, many times we live our lives on autopilot, but at this moment what I can guarantee you is the following: Life is passing by and you are not in control of it.
You know that story: it’s no use wanting to appreciate a work of art with your face glued to the canvas, you will only see blurs. But if you take a step back, the whole beauty of that work of art will make sense.
So, the ideal thing at this moment is to step away from your routine a little bit, so you can really see what is happening in your life.
This moment can be used to touch on a project or idea that you had at some point in the past and you left it parked or discover new directions.
It is very important that you dedicate a few hours or even days to do this internal reflection, all this is very important for you to seek quality of life, changes in habits and personal fulfillment.
Ah, but to do this I have to give up my job, my family or the people I love? Of course not, quite the contrary, whenever I attend clients who are at this moment in their lives, I always say that: the most important thing at this moment is that you get out of your current routine and reflect on whether the actions you have been taking are leading you in the direction of the life you have always wanted.
We can compare the human mind to a computer. After a certain time, our brain also starts to present problems and to get back to working order it is necessary to clean the hard drive and update the software.
Allowing yourself to break out of the daily routine will make you see life from a different perspective. The key to (re)discovering yourself is precisely to “step away” to see yourself better.
To be clear, I would like to tell you the following: Life is not made for you, but by you. If you are not satisfied with the life you are having, you have the freedom to change it.
