‘Beast’ is out now on Digital
I enjoy a good action film every now and again. When done right they can be a lot of fun and take me on an action packed adventure. When I heard Beast was coming out on Digital I hoped I might get a chance to watch it. I was able to get a digital code for this movie and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for Beast here:
Recently widowed father Dr. Nate Samuels (Elba) who returns to South Africa with his two daughters Meredith (Iyana Halley) and Norah (Leah Jeffries) to visit an old friend, Martin Battles (Sharlto Copley) on a game reserve. What begins as a journey of healing turns into a fearsome fight for survival as his family find themselves hunted by a massive, rogue lion intent on proving that the savannah has but one apex predator.
This was an okay film. The plot was mostly predictable and the story had its share of slow moments. The ending was alright but not as strong as it could have been. ‘Creating the Beast’ has the director talking about the process of bringing this giant lion to life. ‘Making it Real: The Wounds’ has some of the prosthetics team showing the work they put in to make these wounds as real as possible. ‘Family Bond: The Cast of The Beast’ had the cast and crew talking about all the good times they had working on this film.
Beast is available now on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital. You can follow this movie on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
