Ensign Flecther brings some fun into Mariner and Boimler’s jobs in ‘Terminal Provocations’. When he agrees to cover for them while they go to an event, they thank him and head to it. When they get back, it looks like someone phased him and stole something important. Meanwhile Tendi tells a secret to Rutherford, and to help her with it he agrees to show her a program he made on the holodeck. Things take a bad turn for them when the entire program goes haywire. Once Mariner and Boimler learn the truth about what happened, it puts them in a precarious situation. Yet as this episode comes to a close, the whole experience strengthens their friendship a bit.
