‘The Creator’ is out now on Digital
I have always been a fan of science fiction films. This is a genre that can take viewers on some thrilling out of this world adventures. When I heard about The Creator I was unsure if it would be good or not. I was able to get a digital code for this movie and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for The Creator here:
Amidst a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua, a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war —and humankind.
Joshua and his team of elite operatives journey across enemy lines into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory, only to discover the world-ending weapon he’s been instructed to destroy is an AI in the form of a young child.
I can’t say I liked this film much. Don’t get me wrong, the special effects and visuals do a wonderful job helping bring this story to life. The big problem is the plot is slow and most of the time not that exciting. More than once it was obvious what was going to happen next, and the ending doesn’t do a good enough job of bringing this film to a close. Some people might like this movie, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
The Creator arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD December 12th. You can follow this movie on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
