Part of what is so powerful about this advertisement is simply that it tries to stop terrorism—something most of us would like someone else to stop but would have no idea where to start. The people who created this should be lauded for being fearless in the face of what might terrorize others. Part of the power of this spot comes from seeing the victims of terror attacks. Part of the power comes from the words, the music, and the juxtaposition of the images of a suicide bomber with people going out about their everyday life. It’s an antidote to online radicalization.
Part of the power is simply that it deals with one of the most difficult subject matters on our planet, and does so with grace and empathy.

Editors,this is a beautiful film and does no harm,but I can not see how it can stop a terrorist.
I think what we overlook sometimes (in most any discourse; not just the one of terrorism, radicalism & fundamentalism, but in most any discourse of polemics) is the narcotic power and appeal of anger & hate. At the core, it can be proudly gratifying to be angry; to be imbued with infinite licence & liberty, and a tangible repository to in which to dispel our own infinite reserves of human frustrations, outrages and frailties.
