We’ve all experienced those “pivot points” throughout our parenting day. The question stands, as Dad’s, should we incentivize our parenting?
I often indulge in Ted talks and sometimes I stumble on something that might be vaguely familiar but it brings a new light. Studies are what our culture hinges on about certain things. Parenting seems to be one of those things. We are always looking to see what the latest study says about our parenting. The truth is, we really just want to know we aren’t screwing our kids up.
The good news is, you’re very likely not!
I really like what Kyle tackles in this video. I did some research on his project mentioned in this talk but it seems his initiative, HighScore House, didn’t really get to take off. It’s a shame, I think it could have been really interesting. Either way, this is a great talk that runs about eleven minutes. It’s worth the time of any parent.
While the research on HighScore House was unsuccessful, I did find this article. Take a look, it was written about the same time as the talk.
