In 2014 the Global Volunteer Network’s international Eat So They Can fundraiser is gearing up for its biggest party yet.
–––
The Eat So They Can campaign offers an inspired way for global citizens to take action and empower others. The concept is simple:
- invite some friends round for a dinner party
- collect donations
- celebrate what you have while helping others.
Since 2007, Eat So They Can has raised over USD$660,000. Funds raised support nutrition and education projects in Africa, Asia and the Americas. Their projects promote local ownership and leadership, and help communities to become sustainable in innovate ways.
The official weekend for Eat So They Can events is October 18-19, but events can be held at anytime.
Connect with hosts from all around the world via Facebook, Twitter and blog!

Some charity car donations may not qualify for the tax exemption because of their condition. If it’s necessary to go through a middleman, find out what percentage of your donation will go to charity and shop around for the best deal. A charity car donation is usually picked up within one or two days of submitting the donation form.
