Ever wondered how your purpose affects your relationship? There are many resources that tell you that you must “be on purpose” or be living “your purpose” along with a million different exercises to help you come up with what purpose means for you. I prefer to approach this a little differently….
In this episode I talk about the difference between trying to live some grandiose purpose that will change the world and being very purposeful in how you are living and where you are headed in terms of being intentional about what you want to create.
In the video below I explain this in more detail including:
How we get “purpose” wrong and end up feeling stuck because we can’t find a purpose that is consistently inspiring and motivating all day every day.
How living purposefully means being intentional about who you are BEING as well as what you are DOING.

What living purposefully in a relationship means.
Why being intentional about showing the other person that you value them can be an incredibly powerful purpose if you choose it in a way that inspires you to be a better man, lover and partner.
Why being a good giver as well as being a good receiver are both equally important if you want to create a deeper intimate relationship, creating a sense of connection and mutual fulfillment.
How being purposeful is about creating and valuing connections and intimacy, not just achieving a specific outcome of sex or affection or “getting” rather than “creating” the intimate loving relationship you want.
I go into this in more detail in the video below. If you would like some 1-to-1 support on how to move forward with your current life situation, fill out my contact form and I’ll get in touch to arrange a free 60 minute coaching session with you.

About Dan Dore
Hi, I’m Dan Dore from Derbyshire, England. Ever since becoming a father I’ve been on a path of learning and development to improve how I lead by example in my relationships with my wife and kids. There have been many difficult moments and decisions along the way which led me to become a Master Coach at Goodguys2Greatmen. I’m a men’s coach first and foremost because I care and I know I can help you get a better understanding of what you’re struggling with and move into a more exciting and fulfilling future. I’ve been through many of the same challenges you have, from growing up as a man in today’s society, to learning how to keep the connection and passion in a marriage (now over 23 years) and also as a father of two young men and one young woman. I place the health and wellbeing of each man I coach as my number one priority and intention. What that means is that I promise to serve each of you more powerfully than any other person in your life is able to. I’m not here to be your friend, I’m here to challenge you to move away from the comfort and fear that you’ve found yourself trapped by, and to step into BEING the man that you LOVE to be. It’s amazing how often I hear men say “I knew this relaxed, self-confident, funny, loving, generous and powerful man was inside me all this time, but I just lost trust in being myself and thought putting everyone else’s needs first would make them happy.” What happens once a man is truly BEING the man he loves to be? He laughs…A LOT He gives and receives affection…A LOT He is honest…ALWAYS And he takes responsibility to CREATE relationships that reciprocate his values for a passionate and fulfilling life.
