It’s all about Thundercats Geek Nation!
The original 80’s ThunderCats show was animated in Japan but produced, written and voice-acted in the U.S. Warner Bros. currently owns the the rights to the series. If you are unfamiliar with the franchise, It’s basically Star Wars with Cats. And it’s AWESOME! I suggest if you want some background as to why it’s so awesome or you are a long time fan take a look at this short You Tube Documentary about the making of Thundercats featuring Thundercats creator Ted Wolf’s Daughter Janice Wolf Thundercats Ho- The Making Of A Pop Culture Phenomenon.
I’m a HUGE Thundercats fan since the original 1985 series so these collectibles by MEZCO TOYS have me stoked for the possibility of finally getting the live-action Thundercats movie we’ve been waiting for! More on that later!

Mumm-Ra is superbly detailed, perfectly capturing not only the iconic look of Mumm-Ra the Ever Living as he appeared in the classic television series, but the essence of his villainy as he spread wide his arms and swears to destroy Lion-O.
Mumm-Ra features 8 points of articulation as well as a real cloth cape and bandages. Packaged in a collector friendly window box, it makes an outstanding addition to any Thundercats collection.

THUNDERCATS Live- Action Film News
The Thundercats had a resurgence as the logo was everywhere and DVD box sets flew off shelves in the mid-to-late 2000 in nostalgia fueled by my contemporaries.
In October 2007, Variety magazine revealed that Jerry O’Flaherty, veteran video game art director, had signed on to direct. The film was being produced by Spring Creek Productions. It’s been in limbo since.
In 2010-11 there was an admirable animated reboot attempt by Cartoon Network which though enjoyable didn’t catch on and enjoy the rabid following of the 85′-89 series and was cancelled after one season. It’s worth checking out!
This month, while talking about Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, in an interview with We Got This Covered Milla Jovovich said she would like to portray Cheetara in the film! If Milla adopts the project and approaches Warner Bros. We may actually get our wish! Warner listened to our bellyaching and we’ve got Young Justice season 3 coming! Write Warner Bros.CEO Kevin Tsujihara & Milla and let them know #THUNDERCATSHHHOOO #MillaIsCheetara get it done!
If you want to see this get made then start buzzing about it Geek Nation let Milla and Warner Bros. know we want the project to move forward! If enough of us ask for it, we might just get what we’ve wanted so long! If anyone want’s to start a Change.Org Petition I’ll get the word out!

Please stop ruining my childhood. No movie. That 2011 series was major trash. Warner Bros needs to put original series on Bluray. Toys are for children, theyll sell about 6 of those figures. I would never go see a Thundercats movie, and I love the cartoon. Idiots in Hollywood, please stop making these terrible superhero comic movies.
