We Cannot Write Enough About NO KINGS Day June 14

No Kings, except for maybe Martin Luther King…

Every day, I read more stories on Medium and elsewhere about injustice, the climate dying, extinction, wars, genocide. The loss of democracy.

But, we don’t see much in the news about how to help fix us.

NO KINGS DAY is June 14, 2025. It will be at a city near you. Find it.

What you won’t read (I haven’t seen it) is a major media network covering this event. This most important tea party-ish, protest is not a grab’em by the newsy-style event . It is apparently not worthy to media from NewsMax to the Guardian. Or anywhere.

The peaceful protests are of little news for outlets that want drama.

But, for We The People, protest is vitally important.

No Kings refers to the 1776 revolution when the USA (united states) declared they want no kings, no emperors, no sultans, no tyrants.

It is important for all parties, all independents, and all people who love freedom to engage in public protest.

United, as in a house divided against itself cannot long stand.

These protests are fun, creative, musical, and festive. Because it’s a united front, the ages and diversity is wonderful.

No Kings refers to the 1776 revolution when the early USA (united states) declared they want no kings, no emperors, no sultans, no tyrants.

Here are a few words from another story I wrote on Medium to help people comprehend what is at stake:

Trumps “BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL” is a costly effort to give a huge tax break to folks making over $400,000 per year. Even larger earners will benefit most. They wish to cut thousands of other programs to pay for the millionaires, and billionaires’ lavish lives and their tax breaks.

But, American tax payers won’t just be enabling lavish lifestyles, the Bros and bullies are also doing everything they can to grab power. Here is a short list of the things they intend to attack and/or take away:

• Healthcare rights, including taking thousands off of Medicaid
• Attacks upon our schools and universities
• Attacks upon law firms and law schools
• Attacks on valuable federal jobs, and funding
• Disallowing foreign students waiting to attend law firms and schools of medicine, and other universities
• Attacks using military and police budgets to surveil, and to deport
• Elimination of school children’s lunch programs
• Decreasing integrated schools that fight racism
• Eliminate programs that protect us from domestic violence
• Attacks upon LGBTQ+ and DEI measures
• Attacks upon movements who support reasonable gun measures
• Reproductive healthcare for women, (but to include forced birth of high risk mothers, and even non-viable babies)
• Attacks upon health programs, including contraception for couples
• Attacks upon progress in energy transition, slashing clean energy budgets
• Attacks upon scientists and research programs that track lethal weather disasters and relief funds
• Provide BIG funding for BIG TECH, BIG OIL, BIG Pharma, and BIG CORRUPTION

In short, the present republicans are intending to gut social safety nets, send a cruel message to women, children, LGBTQ+ people, the impoverished, the homeless, the vulnerable, students, and anyone they believe will not stand up for our constitution, rule of law (habeas corpus) or simple human rights and decency.

There is little to no news of NO KINGS day in corporate media. It is being suppressed while news of Trump’s birthday and costly military show-of -power parade is being planned, funded, and organized.

Only a united front against the cruelty regime and its Agenda 25 goals and guttings, will stop the wannabe KING and his obsequious suck-ups from undermining democracy.

The fawning and foreign bribes the birthday boy is demanding also tells us at best he would be a puppet KING, but at worst he is a joker and jester king who reigns over tariff chaos, confusion, constitutional defiance, and cruelty.

The many people who were lied to, and believed Trump wanted a great America for them also have to stand up and be counted. True Christians, and non-haters from all tribes have to unite. Left and right must unite. Black and white must unite. Men and women must unite. Coal miners and environmentalists must unite. Grandparents and children must unite.

If we are ever to begin to Build Back Better (a better BBB lost effort) all people with courageous guts, open minds, and good hearts must unite for the most common cause there has ever been: a more fair, kind, and greener, habitable planet.
