This week on Fox 25, we honor Bob Davis.
We’ve called Bob Davis a “Soldier, Firefighter, Shrink, and Damn Good Man.” Davis served two tours of duty in Iraq, earning the Bronze Star, two Army Commendation Medals, the Combat Action Badge, and the Combat Medical Badge for his service. He earned his associate degree from American Military University in 2008 and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Fire Science Management.
At home, Davis works as a firefighter in Newton, Massachusetts. He’s also the Veterans Outreach Coordinator for the Red Sox Foundation/Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program. He works with former soldiers, helping them adjust to life at home and cope with post-traumatic stress disorder.
