It is my personal intention is to be more than I was yesterday, including last year. I will be the man I am proud to be. I feel compelled to be a better man because if I can I can be a helping hand to myself, my family and friends around me, I am living my purpose. I accept my role in Life.
I humbly step into my position of power to work for the highest good of all.
I will take my lessons in Life with a stride of acceptance and the awareness of each step that is a challenge which will allow me to grow as a human being.
I will not run away from displays of supportive affection for other men, women and children around me.
I will work at being more present in all my relationships, have an open compassionate ear.
I will learn to sit with my fears and honor the roots of my fear. I will say to what fears me, say yes to life.
I will say yes to interacting with my community as a means to heal and hold my community in a stronger sense of wholeness.
I will embrace power as a gift and I will honor my gifting to lead in the power of love. I will honor the spirit of life, his life, her life and our life. He and he, she and she, she and he, it is all we. To support all living spiritual beings of this planet is my divine right as a steward of this world.
I say yes to honoring life as an evolutionary and a spiritual journey we are walking together. I will learn to lead the parade and in time, learn to walk hand in hand with all who are marching within the parade. I will aid, elevate and not negate.
I will live in meditation, inhaling hope while exhaling peace. My work is to stay in balance so I may come back to center.
I will respect the gravity of time, people, places and things. I will know patience like I know breath.
I will be a better man because I will be and sustain myself as a better person.
I will take off my mask of fear to learn to know my true sense of worth and then learn to live in a worthy state.
I will learn to live in the state of faith that we are here to be living in the state of love.
I will be the best me I can be as I commune in my everyday life.
I will intentionally allow my development as a leader be in the alignment of being willing to be lead, as I serve the world.
I will honor my child, my daughter by honoring her life.
I will be willing to love rather than be loved.
I will respect the reality and the fact I can be authentic as a reflection of myself, my truth is my gifting to her.
I will be willing to listen, rather than be heard because my wish for a outcome of solution.
I will honor my daughter’s mother by engaging in more honest conversations of the healing of the past to bring closure to old, unhealed wounds. We will continue to remain family, even after the romance has become a friendship of unconditionally love and respect.
I will respect love even when my wants and wishes are not given. I desire for my love to be not stolen, so I may know the truth of the matter of giving love.
I will be thankful for gifts given every moment.
I will forgive daily, all who have hurt me.
I will respect their ignorance of my pain.
I will forgive myself for my ignorance of my pain. When I am in the midst of ignorance, I will be honest of its existence and be prepared to address this state of being as I learn a new way of being.
I will develop an ongoing response of replying in the affirmative.
I will think before I speak and choose my words wisely.
I will admit when I am wrong.
I will always embrace the need for change for myself and all others and accept that as the truth.
In 2018, I am committed to being present for the expansion and gifting of life for myself and all others around me.
