The doll is bold, the ad is bold and it boldly goes where no Barbie ad has gone before— marketing to boys.
For me, the move is frickin’ fabulous and about time. I have never believed in the genderization of toys. What do you think?

Hello? Perhaps many simply don’t buy into it and don’t want it. I work with many liberals and showed them the clip. Both the males and females were bothered by it. A progressive family is more then welcome to buy whatever they want for their kids but most families don’t want the advertizing. My grandson was given a play kitchen that he loved and his younger brother played with it when the older one grew out of it.. I saw this article on Yahoo news the other day too. You can comment and I did. In a positive way of this direction of course. I tried to educate people on sex, gender and sexuality in the face of the multitude of comments decrying the collapse of manhood, agenda to make men into women, the gay agenda yada yada yada.
