NON-MATERIAL POSSESSION
“There is nothing material which does not dematerialize with time but there is one thing this material body can possess beyond the reach of others.” Christopher Knight Lopez, International Best-Selling Author.
INTRINSICALLY WORTH MORE THAN VALUE
There are few assets which are priceless. Even fewer beyond the reach of others. You may think this is a discussion of money. Mayhap even an item you can hold. There is something worth more than money. Something worth more than gold. There is a very rare commodity unmined in the earth but harnessed deep within a core.
This asset eludes all those who seek it. Few can possess it. Even fewer can touch it when it resides within plain sight.
When one is sued — it cannot be ordered surrendered. When one is indicted — it cannot be seized. When one is divorced — it cannot be divided.
This asset is something those with money wish money can purchase. This asset is something billionaires crave but often lack. No share exchange transaction can swap its equity. No settlement can receive its proceeds.
This asset requires consent of owner. This asset requires approval of its custodian.
WHAT IS THE ASSET?
You may think this asset is on sale. You may think this asset can be acquired. You can neither purchase this asset nor acquire it.
You must harness it. It takes time to craft. It requires patience to deliver. It requires insight to recognize. It can only be shared willingly. It is possible to never deteriorate. It is possible to never depreciate. It is possible to never be lost.
This asset is Virtue.
AN IRREPLACABLE COMMODITY
A trustworthy person is always in demand. A kind person is never unwelcome. An empathetic gesture never refused. A selfless act is always received well. A modest person always admired.
None of these virtues are despised. None of them rust. None of them fade. None of them are required to depart.
A life spent acquiring virtue is a life never wasted. A life invested developing virtue never fails to gain value. A life saving virtue is a life whose treasures never depreciate.
Everyone can clearly perceive their value but almost none can possess them when they perceive them in another’s ownership. The commodity requires consent to be allocated. The commodity can only be deployed through free will. No party can seize your virtue. You can only surrender it or trade it away.
THE ONLY VALUE FOUND WITH GOD
The only value which holds its value in perpetuity is virtue. Virtue is the one thing you can possess forever. It is the one forever thing you can own in this temporary life. Virtue is the one forever asset you can own which will never be repossessed, stolen, seized, forfeited or robbed from you.
You can only surrender this asset willingly. Some do so for temporary pleasure. Others do it for monetary gain. Many do it for temporary notoriety. People trade their virtue for many things. In this trade they trade away their forever asset for an asset whose destiny is to expire.
REMOVING THE SADDNESS FROM LOSING THINGS
In order to remove the sadness found losing things around you — focus on dedicating your life to something which can never be lost. God permits you to touch one forever asset while you are alive. An asset which can never be taken.
Virtue.
Personal legal processes have taught me dedication to anything besides the virtues advocated by God are a waste of time, energy and resources.
Alternative dedications are also the surest way to remove happiness, joy, peace and contentment from one’s life.
For who can find happiness, joy, peace and contentment with the inevitability of unfair asset seizures? The law has taught me that one can be responsible for another’s theft — even if you did not receive any benefits nor know about another’s bad acts. You can also be obliged to financial requirements without regard to your personal situation. Personal benefit does not factor into consideration. This is a sobering reality.
Change your pursuit of what you seek to own. You will find owning unseizable forever assets more rewarding. I promise you will find these forever assets more secure. There is no more noble a pursuit than to acquire the assets of virtue. Virtues acquired are an act of worship when dedicated to God.
Try acquiring this one asset…Kindness. You would be surprised how rare this one is.
What filled me with happiness after losing every thing was the realization I have not lost everything. I still own the wealth of peserverance, kindess, compassion, empathy, resilience, patience, forgiveness and acceptance. I am not nothing even though I may own no thing.

The Final Testament. The Holy Quran. [25:77] Say, “You attain value at my Lord only through your worship. But if you disbelieve, you incur the inevitable consequences.”

This article is meant to provoke thought — not argument. It’s a way of opening up the mind to alternative ideologies based on what one reads — not what one hears. The belief is personal and of course I respect everyone’s personal beliefs. I condemn no one for choosing whatever path — as clearly I mean to choose my own.
