When you’re driving alone with your baby, do you also worry about the back seat? During the day, you can at least see a faint outline in the rearview mirror. But at night, especially when driving alone with your baby, the car is dim and the back seat is almost impossible to see. Is your baby asleep? Has the seatbelt gotten tangled? Traditional solutions have their limits. A mirror works fine during the day, but at night, its night vision is basically useless.
The LAMTTO RC38 offers a different approach. This device combines a wireless CarPlay adapter and a baby camera into one unit, displaying the rear-seat baby’s view directly on your factory wired car screen. Transform your wired CarPlay into a wireless connection.
It has a 1080P baby camera and supports automatic infrared night vision, so even in complete darkness, you can see your baby in the back seat clearly. No extra screen is needed. Supports full-screen, split-screen, and picture-in-picture modes. When driving, select split-screen mode, and the navigation and rear-seat baby view can be displayed on the car screen at the same time. In picture-in-picture mode, you can enlarge or reduce the image by double-tapping or dragging it. This way, you can check on your baby in the back seat while clearly seeing the route ahead – making solo trips with your little one more reassuring.
It works with both iPhone and Android phones, and supports AirPlay and Miracast screen mirroring. During daily drives or breaks on long trips, you can also cast videos you like to the car screen.
One thing to note: this product has vehicle compatibility requirements. Your vehicle needs to have factory-installed wired CarPlay. It only supports vehicles with Apple CarPlay as the head unit system and does not support Android Auto.
If you have a young baby at home and are concerned that you cannot review your baby in the back seat while driving alone, potentially affecting driving safety, this product is worth considering. Whether during the day or at night, you can clearly see your baby in the back seat at any time. One less worry about the back seat means more focus on the road ahead – and a safer drive overall.
