This star-studded comedy Is coming soon on 4K Ultra HD
Jim Carrey has made lots of different films in his career. He has played all kinds of characters and taken on tons of roles. The Cable Guy was unlike anything he had done at the time and takes audiences on a wild journey. A while ago it was announced this movie is coming out on 4K Ultra HD and here are my thoughts on this news.
You can read the plot of this film here:
Jim Carrey is Chip Douglas, cable installer. Raised on television sitcoms, he wants life to look just like My Three Sons. And when he meets single guy Steven Kovacs (Matthew Broderick), he sees his chance for some serious male bonding. But Chip’s idea of friendship – which includes physical assault, a game of ‘Porno Password’ and a medieval joust – may be hazardous to Steven’s health. In Chip’s own immortal words, “I can be your best friend…or your worst enemy.”
It is nice to hear this comedy is being released on 4K Ultra HD. The story it tells is an interesting one and takes viewers on a totally crazy adventure. There are a few new bonus features here that take a look back on this movie by some of the cast and crew who worked on it. Fans of this film will want to pick this one up when it comes out on 4K Ultra HD.
The Cable Guy arrives on 4K Ultra HD and Digital October 6th.
