Every single year at NYCC, I look forward to the annual booth tour with the Mastermind of Marketing himself, Doug Johnson from @heroesvillainsbrand. This man creates, designs, and supervises the merch for these massive Marvel collaborations, and every time we connect, I always wonder one thing: how is Doug going to creatively kill it this year?

Well, this year is no exception. He absolutely outdid himself. We took a deep dive into an immersive, sovereign takeover of the Javits show floor that you need to hit every year immediately.

Run. Don’t walk! First fifty guests typically get exclusive shirts designed by Doug every year!
The Latverian Marketplace (Booth #3071) a stunning, cobblestone-and-wood medieval village square that transports fans straight into Victor von Doom’s domain to build massive hype for Avengers: Doomsday.

My walkthrough felt like stepping into a conquered multiverse. Doug’s meticulous attention to lore is on full display inside Doom’s personal trophy room, showcasing legendary, battle-tested relics from across timelines.
Every single year at #NewYorkComicCon the absolute highlight is my annual booth tour with Doug from @heroesvillainsbrand.
Every time we re-connect, I always ask the same thing: how is Doug going to creatively kill it this year? Here he is doing it again –
On the apparel side, the collection seamlessly fuses comic book bonafides with heavy-duty streetwear, proving once again that nobody bends pop-culture design to their will quite like Heroes & Villains.

💥 THE NYCC ACTIVATION BREAKDOWN
- Booth #2453: The Main Heroes & Villains Hub
Located right next to the principal Marvel area, this serving station functioned as the main retail and community core. It was loaded with general apparel exclusives, daily convention giveaways, and stylized “con menus”. This booth served up highly sought-after comic-inspired gear, including premium apparel featuring Spider-Man, Daredevil, the Punisher, and exclusive Marvel Midnight variant comic book covers available only on-site.
- Booth #3071: The Latverian Marketplace & Vault
This was the absolute showstopper of the entire convention. Doug and his team built an incredibly immersive medieval village square right in the middle of the Javits Center, evoking the old-world aesthetic of Doctor Doom’s homeland, Latveria. It featured cobblestone- and wood-inspired construction, stained-glass-style windows, and a massive Latverian castle gate draped with Doom’s official flag.

The Multiversal Trophy Room: Serving as an organic walkthrough experience, the display brought fans face-to-face with Victor von Doom’s private collection of multiversal relics. The meticulously detailed artifacts on the display shelves highlighted Doom’s cosmic ambition.

Interactive Elements: Alongside a life-sized look at Doctor Doom’s actual cinematic armor, the booth featured interactive setups including a Doomsday photo booth platform complete with an animatronic Sentinel head prop.
THE DOOMSDAY APPAREL EXCLUSIVES
