Own Skin is an animated poem that explores the stigma surrounding body image. Inspired by research from Bodykind festival it aims to promote a positive message in times where self acceptance is hard. It encourages people to break through their self doubt and find comfort in their own skin.
Saskia Tomlinson is an animator and maker based in London. Her work combines stop-motion animation with 2D elements and embraces positivity where ever it can. Saskia’s work has been shown at a number of film festivals including Encounters, Leeds International Film Festival, Sheffield Doc Fest and Manchester Animation Festival.
