I have been taking some notes and pictures for a good time. I once watched a YouTube video where they talked about this. Taking notes to have significant proof that you are on a journey.
Reading my old notes approves this theory. Things changed a lot in a short time.
Before doing this, I did not have any references to go back to. To see if there are any tiny changes in my life.
It’s time to take that step and start taking more pictures and save the notes.
“I go through dozens of notebooks every year and write everything that occurs to me each day, an idea not written is an idea lost. When inspiration calls, you’ve got to capture it.” — Richard Branson
Highly effective people take notes consistently.
Why?
First, they have written evidence of the change.
By writing, you are taking down the details that you may forget. And you can measure the number of things you learned.
Without this, you can miss the parts and the shift of your life.
Second, you can mark the development.
You can measure the change and the time. By this, you can replicate the success or avoid the failures.
You now have the timeline and the things that worked. Are you in the right place or not?
You analyze some decisions that turned out to be the best investment in your life. The smallest things you did 2 years ago may be the best thing ever.
Like the course, you bought for 10 dollars that helped you to promote your business. Now you are selling more.
Third, you can track your habits and development.
It’s great to have a reference to see if you are going with your habit right. And to see if you archived your goals yet with those habits or not.
To archive your success and move forward, know your past mistakes and your little tricks and tips.
It’s incredible how your life can change within one year.
You could not notice this if you have no documentation of the process.
Embrace the journey and enjoy all of it. Trust that you are worthy and you are enough.
Final thoughts
Taking notes and pictures will help you have a better view of what happened in the past year. This will be your guide to the future.
