There are times when we all are fed up with the way the world runs. We are easily able to pinpoint the flaws that this world carries. It won’t take us any time to formulate judgments and conclude that this is how it is. We all want to see the change but what are we doing to make it happen? Only commenting on the change won’t take us further. You don’t always need to think of a massive hit idea to create something for society. It does not have to always involve campaigns or support of thousands of people. Sometimes, being the change yourself can also be more than enough to ignite the spark. It is very common in society to think that if your parents have their own business, it is only sensible to enter that. It comes easily to people in mind that having a well-set business of parents means that the child is lucky and has everything he needs without having to do any hassle.
However, this worldview may not always be true. At least, it wasn’t for Humza Lokhandwala. He tried entering his parent’s business but he knew that he was not meant for that. He could have confirmed societal norms and could have compromised with his life by taking a safe abode under his parents. However, he took the risk as he never believed in having regrets. To see the change happen, he became the change. He separated from his parent’s business and started stepping in several ventures. It was his bad luck that every time he entered into something, all he saw was downtimes. He still did not give up because he chose this for himself. He had an opportunity to get back to his parents and take the safer road but he made his journey more interesting by accepting the challenges, learning from it, and moving ahead with a strong desire to achieve.
Humza Lokhandwala says that “If I stayed true to others’ expectations, I would still have a life of others & not my own. This idea was daunting for me which drove me to keep making big moves” He really wanted to live life on his terms. He wanted himself to have control over where life should go rather than others shaping it for him. He took it in his heart that whatever happens, there should be no regrets. Not once should he feel that he did not try.
Humza Lokhandwala brought the change in his life by being the change. He did what he felt was most right and did not give up with adversities coming his way. Today, he surely feels proud of letting the change bring him to the most successful door of his life. His journey is surely motivating and we wish Humza Lokhandwala to keep up with his good work.
