'Fashion in the Big Apple' - an Australian Perspective!

Fashion designer and oral historian, Yahav Ron of Paris 99, presents an informative and engaging discussion about the history and dichotomy of fashion in the Big Apple hosted by Melbournes only Men’s custom Jewelry Design Shop Lord Coconut!

Ron explores the two-sided coin of the difference between Up-town and Down-town style; featuring original garments from New York’s most recognizable designers and upcoming labels from his own private collection.

Labels include Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass, Isaac Mizrahi, Calvin Klein and many more. This is also an opportunity to see, touch and acquire these unique works in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

The illustration will consist of second-hand garments from a sustainable and locally run business.

Yahav Ron is often described as having an encyclopedic knowledge of fashion which he loves to share.

Many of the designers discussed come from diverse cultural backgrounds and flock to New York as a platform for greater world reach.

Ron states: “This session explores the difference between up-town and down-town style.
