Bender attempts to find someone dastardly in ‘Catfish Hunter’
Last time on Futurama, we learned many years ago that Fry once competed in a hot dog eating contest. He was actually pretty good at it, but lost against a tough adversary. He tried to see if he still could eat them as he did back then, but this was impossible because hot dogs had changed. Fry asked the Professor to bring Beef back and he was happy to do it. After a few failed attempts it worked and it looked like the contest was coming back. Fry worked hard to get back in shape for it, and was doing great until somehow an old adversary returned. Beating them was not going to be easy, yet something happened which nobody could have predicted. Now Bender must find someone and make them pay in ‘Catfish Hunter’. I was able to get a screener of this episode and here is my thoughts on it.

This was a pretty funny episode. Bender pays a visit to his grandma and discovers someone has dared to scam her out of a ton of money. Bender decides to pay them a visit and attempt to get the money back. Instead he ends up falling for them and for a moment they work together to scam tons of people. The crew sets up a plan which seems foolproof where they can wind up with a lot of money and teach Bender a lesson at the same time. For a while everything appears to be going off without a hitch, until something totally wild occurs. Once this episode comes to a close the life of a couple robots will be changed forever.
