Movies aren’t just entertainment. They can change your life.
You know the routine: Check movie showtimes. Go to the theater. Get snacks. Plop down in the comfy seats to wait for the movie. Shut off your brain. Watch previews. Watch movie. Leave theater. Turn on brain again. Forget about the movie. Go back to your normal life.
But it’s not always that way.
Although we mainly think of movies as entertainment, they’re much more than that. A great movie can make you reconsider your viewpoint or think about your life direction. In the span of a couple of hours, this amazing art form can literally change your life.
That’s why we’re putting out a call for submissions on this topic: Movies Make Me a Better Man. We want to know how a particular movie, series of movies, a character, or storyline has impacted your life and help you become a better man.
How has a movie changed your perspective on fatherhood, career, marriage and relationships, spirituality, social issues, or any other topic? Send submissions to Kent Sanders at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you!
