A lot of emotion come up for Gary in ‘Perspective’
Last time on A Million Little Things, Maggie had a hard memory come back to the surface. It was giving her nightmares, and she was unsure how to get rid of them. Luckily, she found herself with friends who were glad to be there for her. With their help and acceptance of her choices, she found a way to deal with a difficult memory from her past. Gary wakes up one morning to an important anniversary in ‘Perspective’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘Perspective’ here:
Gary has trouble dealing with Maggie’s life-changing decision, which takes him back to when Jon was there for him during his chemo treatments; Rome finally opens up to his dad about his internal struggles; and Katherine battles balancing being a working mother without Eddie.
Gary wakes up to a big milestone in ‘Perspective’. He realizes it has been 1 year cancer free. He doesn’t want much of a big deal made about it, although he is bummed that his friends won’t be able to join him for the Bruins game. As this episode moves along we get to see Gary’s battles with cancer a year ago and the friend who was there with him every step of the way. Towards the end he has many emotions come to the surface, but the person it is directed at might surprise some viewers. Near the final moments someone makes a rather unexpected decision.
