The classic film ‘Gattaca’ is out now on 4K Ultra HD
I was in high school the first time I saw Gattaca. I watched it in some science class, and I remember being captivated by its story. This film has a stellar cast and took me on a pretty interesting adventure. Now it is coming out on 4K Ultra HD. I was able to get a review copy of this movie and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Gattaca here:
Hawke stars as Vincent, an “In-Valid” who assumes the identity of a member of the genetic elite to pursue his goal of traveling into space with the Gattaca Aerospace Corporation. However, a week before his mission, a murder marks Vincent as a suspect. With a relentless investigator in pursuit and the colleague he has fallen in love with beginning to suspect his deception, Vincent’s dreams steadily unravel.
I enjoyed watching this film again. The story is a good one, and it takes plenty of surprise turns along the way. There are some big stars in here like Alan Arkin, Tony Shalhoub and Ernest Borgnine. It shows a vision of a wild future where genetic engineering is the only way to have a good life. Yet one man decides to task a risk to make their dream a reality. As this film comes to a close, we see them prepare to go on a long journey.
Gattaca is available now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and Digital.
