‘Supergirl’ Is out now on Blu-Ray
It can be fun to watch a superhero movie. When they are done well, they can take viewers of all ages on an exciting journey. I heard mixed things about Supergirl but was still hoping I might get a chance to watch it. I was able to get a review copy of this film and here is what I thought of it.

Overall, this was an okay movie. There was plenty of action and a few cool twists as the story mover forward. At the same time, it had its share of slow moments and predictable elements as well. The villain wasn’t that strong and the film felt longer than it needed to be at times. The ending was not awful but also not as good as it could have been. ‘The DC Dream: Lobo’ told the way this character was brought into this movie and how much fun the cast and crew had bringing them to life. ‘A Practical Legacy’ showed how most of the creatures in this film were made and a few of the challenges the crew faced making them. ‘Showdown at Everly Square’ revealed the process of bringing a pivotal scene from this movie to life. Some people may like this film, but it won’t be for everyone.
