Artist Daria Martin revisits her grandmother’s childhood home through video gaming technology, and an archive of dream diaries, to explore the legacies of her ancestors’ forced flight from Czechoslovakia prior to the Nazi invasion.
Born in San Francisco in 1973, now based in London, Daria Martin is an internationally acclaimed artist and winner of the 2018 Jarman Award. With a degree in Humanities from Yale and Art from UCLA, she has been writing, directing and exhibiting short art films in galleries and museums for twenty years.
