When DearDoc founder Joe Brown started his company, which offers cloud-based software solutions to help reinvent the way new patients meet their doctor, in 2018, he did so with optimism and a drive to add artificial intelligence to healthcare practitioners’ toolboxes. That attitude, he said, is what has grown the company into what it is today.
“We wanted to change the standard of how patients get in touch with their doctor, whether it’s the doctor they’ve been seeing for years or someone completely new,” he said. “We’ve been able to do that through integrating the same AI that Fortune 500 companies use with our suite of products.”
These integrations empower doctors and patients to provide and access quality care no matter where they are – something that has never mattered more than now, Brown said.
“We added telemedicine to our suite of services during COVID-19 and it helped us stay above water during a time when other companies were going under,” he said. “Now it’s part of the suite of products we offer to encompass every step of the patient process.”
Through DearDoc’s products and features, healthcare practitioners are able to drive practice growth through chatbots installed on a doctor’s website, automatic appointment scheduling, and a review generator that empowers patients to leave reviews with a simple press of a button.
“We want to enable more doctors to care for more patients by automating the elements of running a practice that makes digital branding and marketing challenging,” said Brown. “As the world of AI develops and changes, we’re really excited about what’s to come.”
