Georgia local television station WSB-TV is reporting that on Saturday, December 13th the Georgia-based Sandy Springs Gun Club and Range is hosting a family event where children can have their annual Christmas picture taken with Santa, while Saint Nick holds an an AK-47, AR-15, FN-SCAR-17 assault rifle.
This is not an over-the-top satire dreamed up by The Onion or The Borowitz Report. It’s real:
“It’s not trying to send a message,” said Robyn Marzullo, who co-owns the range. “Our customers and the people who support us will love to do something different for the holidays.”
Yup. That sure is different alright. It’s so nice to see a real reevaluation of our values in the wake of the nine-year old who killed a range instructor in Arizona with an Uzi.
Ho ho ho.

Hollywood has had its fair share of bad Santas. From … well … Bad Santa to Trading Places.
But this is ridiculous. A truth stranger than fiction. It got us thinking: What if this were a movie? What would we call it? So here are some ideas:
(“Yippee Kai Aye!”)

(“You’re the disease! Mistletoe’s the cure!”)
♦◊♦
(“Look out naughty kids…Because that laser sight improves Santa’s aim. By a lot.”)

What’s your Santa and automatic movie mashup title?
