A recent study reveals that Georgia tops the list as the U.S. state most obsessed with prom dresses amid the ongoing prom season.
The study by the Dallas-based fashion designer Terry Costa analyzed U.S. search volumes for prom dress-related keywords (like “prom dress,” “prom dresses 2025”, “black prom dress”, and more) in the last 12 months for prom dress-related keywords via Google Keyword Planner. The study then ranked each state based on the average monthly search volume per 100,000 residents.
