In a bid to get children to eat healthier, ‘The Cook At Home Dad’ shares tips and recipes he creates for and with his kids.

My family loves wings – deep fried, crispy, juicy, tangy, spicy wings! Blue cheese dressing? Yes, please, by the bucketful! I knew when I began this journey of healthier eating/cooking I would have to come up with an alternative.
It took several attempts at this recipe to find the perfect balance of flavor with healthier ingredients (and a lot of tweaking with the heat) before finding the perfect blend. I admit my girls use the endive as a spoon and don’t eat it, but they love the buffalo chicken. This is one of our favorite go-to snacks for game night and movie night, and not surprisingly – no one asks for wings anymore! Try it at your place and see for yourself: you don’t need to deep fry skin-on dark meat chicken to get all the enjoyment of wings. Enjoy!
