Here’s a funny one for you today.
It’s common for young men to miss women’s signs of interest. One of the most popular “Casually Explained” videos on Youtube pokes fun at this phenomenon:
Hahaha classic.
Let’s take a look at this old Reddit thread I dug up for some hilarious, real life examples:
1. He declined the invitation.
Ever got too nervous to accept a girl’s direct invitation to have some fun together? Youth is wasted on the young!
2. Don’t just take it as a joke!
Stubbornly believing that you are ugly or unattractive can easily lead to self-sabotage like this.
3. Served up on a silver platter…
Some hilarious comments in reply to this:
It’s almost cute when women do everything they can to set up a situation for a man to make a move, and he just doesn’t because he’s too inexperienced to know what to do.
Confidently take charge, my fellow men!
4. She meant to put it there, my dude.
In my experience, women are very conscious of their bodies and where all the parts are placed. At least a lot more so than men.
5. How direct does she have to be?
Does she really have to spell it out with GPS coordinates and everything?
6. She couldn’t take it anymore.
Women can sometimes get more direct from being frustrated when their more subtle hints don’t seem to get through, but don’t count on it.
7. “Why would I want to see some random girl’s dorm room?”
HMMM I WONDER WHY. Just, what?
8. Idol.
If he didn’t “get the hint,” wouldn’t he be creeped out instead?
9. She even brought up birth control!
What could you possibly be thinking she meant when she brought up the birth control pills?
Oh, by the way, you should use condoms anyway. The pill won’t prevent you from catching Chlamydia.
10. He was “a bit annoyed” even. Sheesh!
She was the one trying to pick him up that night, and the only reason she failed was because the guy was an idiot. Too funny!
BONUS: 11. Missed the chance in high school, and AGAIN AS ADULTS.

There’s an important lesson to take from all this.
No matter how unattractive or undesirable you think you are, don’t close yourself off to the possibility that some women out there will actually be attracted to you.
Your own lack of confidence or experience can cause you to self-sabotage once-in-a-lifetime chances.
