It’s a painful feeling to realize that your significant other doesn’t have the same level of love and affection towards you as they did when you first got together.
Even though things may seem fine on the surface, and to those around you, the couple might seem perfect, deep down there’s pain in knowing that your partner’s feelings have changed since you first met.
But deep down, you sense that something is not right. Although others may see you as a happy couple, you have an inner feeling that your relationship is facing issues.
And as time goes on, the internal voice becomes increasingly pronounced. There’s a desire to ignore the situation and act like all is well.
But you know that sooner or later, you will not be able to ignore that inner voice anymore.
As for your guy, they are not expressing their thoughts and feelings, leaving you frustrated. At times, you desire for them to be direct and clear with you.
If you knew for certain that a negative outcome was going to happen, you would have time to mentally and emotionally prepare yourself.
But instead, he remains quiet and distant behind his impenetrable wall of silence.
Meanwhile, you are struggling in your inner turmoil, trying to decide on the next course of action.
Facing the Truth
It is tough to accept the likelihood that the person you have invested in may not be the one for you, especially when it is a painful thought to entertain.
But many women ignore the signs and pretend not to see them, even though they are clearly visible.
So how do you know if that feeling in the pit of your stomach is just fear talking and nothing more?
How can you know if he secretly desires to end the relationship but cannot express it directly to you?
To help you gauge where you stand with a guy — and what to do next — check out the 5 Red Flags That A Guy Wants to Leave:
1. He’s Turned Into the Silent Sphinx
Is your guy lately more reserved than they used to be? At the start, he used to easily express his opinions with you.
Previously, if he had a difficult day or something was bothering him, he would quickly confide in you.
But now he’s become distant and evasive, responding to your inquiries with “I don’t want to talk about it.”
Don’t overlook this behavior just because it may seem like a typical response from a man. Consider it carefully.
Beware if there is a sudden change in his behavior, as a drastic shift from being talkative to being tight-lipped is likely not a positive sign.

2. He Can’t Stand Being Around You
This may seem like an obvious change, but it may catch you off guard.
Many women ignore this shift in behavior until it’s too late and their man delivers the harsh truth of, “I love you, but I’m not in love with you”.
Sometimes, recognizing this sign is not as straightforward as it seems.
Pay attention to the following signs:
- Beware if he starts to get irate over trivial things like not replacing the toothpaste cap or not responding to his messages immediately.
- What he previously found charming about you now irritates him.
- When you attempt to be affectionate with him, he becomes stiff and his body language conveys “keep your distance.”
- Say goodbye to any sexy time, too — he doesn’t seem turned on by you anymore
- He’s picking fights over minor issues.
- He reacts excessively to harmless questions or statements and answers with defensiveness.
- He used to be relaxed and open to anything, but now he appears to be on edge and ready to lash out at a moment’s notice.
It’s possible that his stress and tension stem from other aspects of his life, such as work.
It’s possible that he may be experiencing a period of exhaustion and lack of drive, which is a common experience for many people at some point in their lives.
However, if there appears to be no other underlying causes, it might be a cause for concern.
If he continues to exhibit irrational behavior without a clear explanation, it could indicate that he wants to end the relationship.
3. He’s…. Mean
This sign is likely to be more noticeable than the others. Not only has he become distant and moody, but…
It appears that the warmth and tenderness he once had has been replaced by a combative demeanor.
The way he speaks to you has become hurtful and disheartening. His words can be hurtful, especially during arguments.
He just wants winning the fight, even if it means using hurtful language that he’s never used before.
You may be ask yourself, “Is this really the same person I got to know not too long ago?”

4. The Love and Affection Have Dried Up
He’s ignoring your emotional needs and not paying attention to them.
He disregards your emotional needs and shows no interest in listening to you, even if you had a difficult day. He would rather engage in other activities.
He no longer prioritizes spending time with you and may disappear for extended periods, ignoring your emotional and other needs.
…he no longer communicates with you about what’s happening, and is disinterested in participating in activities typically enjoyed by couples.
He has ceased making any effort in the relationship.
5. He Wants Space — LOTS of It
It’s acceptable for a man to be temporarily absent when he is handling an important task such as work.
During such times, it’s normal for a guy to be occupied with something crucial, such as work, and they will eventually come back and re-engage.
But what if he’s acting like he dropped off the face of the Earth? And what if he doesn’t even make the slightest effort to give you a heads up?
Perhaps you have been consistently sending him messages asking about his activities.
Then he sends brief responses, or the ominous “K.”
If he’s consistently responding with minimal effort, it’s possible that he has no intention of returning.
Is It Too Late?
If you observe only a few of these signs, and they occur only occasionally, it may just be a temporary episode of “Relationship Fatigue.”
It’s normal for couples to experience a loss of excitement at some point in their relationship.
It’s also possible that he’s become too relaxed in the relationship and has let some things slide, which is normal for some guys.
Additionally, some men may have a tendency to take things for granted and may simply need a gentle reminder of the positive aspects of their relationship.
It’s frustrating, but it happens.
However, if you frequently observe a high number of these warning signs in your relationship, it may indicate a more serious issue.
He may be considering leaving the relationship and moving away.
But don’t lose hope, there is still an action you can take.
I understand what you’re going through as I was once in a similar situation. My significant other had detached himself from me and was ready to leave the relationship.
I discovered a way to trigger a change in his thinking and it made a huge impact on our relationship.
What I found most important was the distinction between eliciting a man’s attraction and creating a strong emotional bond with him.
So after I learned how to create a deep emotional attachment with him, it completely removed any uncertainty in his mind that I was the right person for him.
Moreover, this method is effective for almost all men.
Whether you have a brief or lengthy relationship with him, you have the power to make him understand that leaving you would be the biggest mistake of his life.
