Trapped moths in a clear case create a fluctuating still life, while movements of the camera reveal and unravel bright paintings, creating a sense of motion.
Lara Smithson is a London based artist. Having graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2015, she works between different mediums, looking beyond the surface of both painting and cinema expanding their presumed time-scapes.
