Expansion
One of the greatest goals of humanity
Control
Not of others but of your own self
Discipline
Not for an outcome but for a personhood
Rejection
Not of others but of your own limiting beliefs
So many days
In endless ways
We take the objective personally
And we make our personal the objective
“…It has been difficult for me to achieve this
So who are you to make it look easy?
I have never been allowed the freedom to be that way
So who are you to write your own blank check…?”
What others achieve is at our expense
What we achieve is a competition we won
But is that as good as it gets?
Grace is never monetized
There is no balance to run dry
We expand not by competition
But by uniting with grace
To recognize there is enough favor for all
They can accomplish that
And there is still room for you
You can achieve this
And there is still room for them
The more we fear scarcity
The more we create it
By blocking others
And eventually blocking
Every gift we have been given to share
We expand not by dominating
We expand not by fearing domination
No! It is by Love!
We don’t revere fragments of power imbalance
We take refuge in knowing the whole of the positive
Recognizing fear often makes itself appear larger than it is
While love is everywhere yet often overlooked
Jesus said to seek and you shall find
Perhaps that means to look for what to be grateful for
And watch it multiply as you see it more and more
Expand your awareness of what you have
And you find that your old awareness
Of all that you lacked
Was the one truly lacking!
Disconnected from love
Disconnected from grace
Disconnected from the authenticity
That comes with taking hold of your worth
You are here to grow
You are here to expand
But the path is not others
The path is within you.
You’ve got this!
