What is stopping you from going further, from changing your life, from pursuing your dream? Is it the fear of trying or the fear of failing?
Are you afraid of judgment and what people will think? Then understand that if you live with your focus outward, you won’t hear what’s inside you screaming for attention. Self-knowledge is about looking inward, at your true essence.
It is self-knowledge that allows us to understand our limits so we can gauge how far to go, when to try, when to take risks, where to go, and when to stop. When we are aware of our barriers and our internal resources, we are able to create the best possible plan for each challenge.
Sometimes we let ourselves be carried away by illusions, by external factors, by preconceived ideas of the world we live in. However, judgment is based on what each person knows about life, on what each person knows about things, and therefore, obviously, there may be opinions that differ from ours. And opinions are simply opinions, they are not absolute truths, and neither are ours.
Listen to your heart, give your intuition a chance, and let what comes from outside simply be noise. Don’t let pride and perfectionism keep you in the same place all your life because nothing grows in your comfort zone. Allow your fear to simply be a warning to proceed with caution, not something that blocks and paralyzes you.
There are no failures, there are only results, and even the most challenging ones can be reinterpreted when you give them meaning, when you look at them with maturity and choose to focus on the learning they brought.
You will be able to overcome your fear and find peace when you live aligned with your values, not others.
