After you’ve recovered from your candy hangover, what’s next?
There are plenty of holidays that seem to be built around mass consumption of sweets, but Halloween is the only one when kids (and not-kids) actively go out if search of people to give them candy, and success is measured in sugars-per-pound.
And with candy comes plenty of new ideas of what to do with the leftovers. Dentist’s offices collect it in trade for goodies that will not bring more patients in, community groups collect it to send to troops overseas, food banks add it to their shelves.
But if you’re inclined to hold on to those little foil wrapped nuggets of temptation, BuzzFeed has taken some favorites on a deep-fry test drive.
Your mileage may vary. And we’re not responsible for messed in the kitchen or stomachaches from your tenth crispy deep-fried Butterfinger.
