No-Win Game
Ah, the no-win game!
Choose A, you lose
Choose B, you lose
But the whole point of the game
Is to offer it to you rigged
All of the options involve appearances
Because appearances are what play games
All of the options offer you inferiority
Because if you had self worth
Then you never would have met this game
The way to end the game is not to win
Games are over when you outgrow them
No one offers them to you anymore
Because they are not confident you would lose
Stop trying to win
Instead try to tell the truth
At least within yourself
Navigate the difference
Between Should Be and Authentic
We are so inclined to see what we think others see
That we fail to recognize the pieces only we know
Take your fragments out of the compartments
And bring them together as a full picture
You will have answers to questions
You never thought to ask
Because you thought you already knew
But when you don’t know
Then you make the space to truly know
And that is when the truth can arrive
