My sister and I were preparing for a biology exam (we are twins). I can say that I am weak in that subject. However, I wrote the exam successfully after rigorous hard work.
The day had finally arrived.
Results!
I got 90/100.
Pessimistic thoughts exploded in my mind.
“This evening I will be celebrating Diwali with my mom. Wait, how much did Pallu (my twin sister) score?”
Me: How much did you score?
Pallu: First, you tell me.
Me: 90
Pallu : 86
Me: What’s the highest?
Pallu: 95.
Me: What the hell !!
My mom, after looking at our results, scolded Pallu badly. She didn’t scold me, as I scored more marks than her.

Next day morning:
Me: Pallu, Where are my math notes?
Pallu: It’s in my bag.
Me: Ok! I’ll take it.
While I was searching for the book, I got her biology paper. I was totally dazzled after looking into it.
She got 95/100. She scored the highest in the class.
Pallu: Got the book?
Me: Why did you lie to me?
(Showing her paper)
Pallu: I know how much you have studied for that exam. 90 is a good score, but Mom will compare yours with mine. So, I wanted to give the credit to you.
Me : (Speechless)
Immediately I called my mom and dad. I told them the entire scene. They appreciated Pallu for her love towards me. They also congratulated me for getting 90/100.
From then, my parents stopped comparing us.
It’s just because of her. Seriously, she’s been a gift to me.
This one incident explains, how much my sister loves me.
