In looking at a different story for sexuality, I come to experiences I’ve shared with many men. I come to listen to many discussions with men, many articles read. I come to the men I’ve shared space with, personally and professionally, from a broken father, to men of strength, integrity, and love.
I come to look at my own journey, continuing with each breath, my healing, growth, and expansion.
I see how few men have been touched with love, with gentleness, with tenderness.
I see how few men know what do with that, how to respond, where inside of themselves to put that.
I see how few men know how to receive that with gratitude and grace, without going into a pattern: a pattern of doing, a pattern of sex, a pattern of orgasm.
I see how few men know how to be in stillness with that, in sensation, in feeling, in emotion.
I see how few men know how to be in quiet with that. In a space of no words, no mind.
I see how few men know how to relax into that, into softness.
I see how few men know how to accept that without expectation.
I see how few men know how to experience that without transaction.
I see how few men are willing to explore that space, to go beyond what they don’t know.
I see how few men are able to receive from the heart of another, being strangers to their own heart.
I see how few men can let go long enough to feel that. Let go of anger, hurt, frustration, confusion, resentment, fear, judgment.
Let go of conditioning and patterning.
Let go of beliefs that keep us trapped in the narrow stream suppression.
Let go of the expression of violence from powerlessness.
Let go and feel.
Let go and breathe.
Let go and heal.
Let go.
And love.
