WEBBY-HONORED PODCASTERS ANNOUNCE NEW TROPICAL THRILLER

“Audio fiction is an exciting landscape to play in. You can create high-concept stories and scenes with just layers of sound files, music, and some great performances,” co-showrunner Josie Eli Herman says. “The cast is brilliant in this production, and we’re looking forward to sharing these nuanced characters with you soon.”
Co-showrunner Michael Alan Herman adding: “We have always wanted to create a neo-noir mystery and with Silvertongues we saw the opportunity to give that genre a tropical twist. People can expect adventure, humor, and high stakes in this new show.”
Their previous work THE CALL OF THE VOID currently has over 1.2 million global downloads across 150 different countries and won Platinum Silver at the HEAR Now Festival, Best Director & Best Supporting Actress at the AudioVerse Awards, and has been featured in numerous lists for top audio fiction including on BuzzFeed and Fangoria.
SILVERTONGUES will consist of 7 main episodes and 6 half episodes wherever you listen to podcasts including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and more. The fiction series stars Dan Johnson (Jeff Daniel’s GUEST ARTIST), Sabrina Dahlgren (Encore’s LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS), Callie Bussell (STAR TREK: HORIZON) and Michael Alan Herman (James Franco’s THE MAD WHALE).
Leading man, Dan Johnson says, “At its core, Silvertongues is a story about two things: the power of voice and – how that voice is being used. Is it being used to uplift humanity? Or is it being used to strip humanity from people? Which – considering the time in which we live – is a vital, and important, question to ask.”
