Life is a process of losses and gains, which is not always so easy to understand and manage. We plan things, we dream, and life takes us on other paths. Sometimes we ourselves stray from what we planned due to mistakes we make. Thus, our life seems to lose its meaning, its reason for being. We become distant from what our heart desires and become strangers to ourselves.
Over time, this estrangement becomes permanent, so that we cannot look back at what we once wanted from life. In this way, we become empty souls, incapable of dreaming. Prisoners of past events, we are unable to keep the flame of dreams alive in the present so that we can seek to realize them.
It is necessary to learn to forgive yourself so that you can move forward. Being stuck in what we did wrong only takes away the motivation we need to live. We all make mistakes, because we don’t know everything and we need to fall to learn to get up.
In addition, as I said, there are things we cannot control, so we should not martyr ourselves for the obstacles imposed by life itself. To stop dreaming and believing that your dreams are not possible to achieve is simply to cancel yourself out as a human being and start living the ghost of a life that once had faith and knew how to smile and dance. I do not mean faith from a religious point of view, but the faith that we must have in ourselves, which is essential for us to stay motivated and strong to face the difficulties inherent in any path.
As much as we want, the past cannot be changed. So, having too much past only takes away the energy needed for the present. We should not forget the past, the memories, because our mistakes serve as emotional growth and maturity, so that in new situations we know how to act.

Furthermore, we must learn to look at the past and see where we were right too. Nobody only gets it right, just as it is not a perennial mistake. The emotional suicide we commit creates a selectivity, in which we erase everything good we did and our successes.
Even though everything seems not to work and nobody believes in us, we need to maintain our enthusiasm for life, for what is beautiful and be our own source of energy. It seems silly, but it is much easier to forgive others than to forgive yourself and give yourself a vote of confidence. If we made mistakes, as much as we want, it cannot be changed, therefore, stop being your own inquisitor and believe that even with wounded wings you can still fly.
Life will never be easy for those who seek to fulfill their dreams. There will always be difficulties, obstacles and people who will make you doubt yourself. However, blaming yourself does not solve the problem, as well as it can lead you to depressions far from the mountains.
Forgive yourself, add color to your dreams and stay positive. Don’t just become a scribble, because over time it becomes so faint that we can no longer see it. Believe in who you are and have the courage to take risks, because as they say:
“The world is in the hands of those who have the courage to dream and the audacity to live their dreams.”
