first off JR., I LOVE the posts! and those haters are just jealous that they have shitty boring lives…. or if they posted how they truly felt they would be in divorce city.
Keep doing what you’re doing… If they dont like what they are reading they are free to go to another boring blog and read……..
Great Bloggers always have haters… That means you’re doing something right- You’re being yourself…..
It’s amazing, the reactions from these folks. Frankly, screw ’em. You’re holding it down best you can. No one said you were supposed to be ceilbate cause you’re a single dad. You’re still a man, dammit, and I’ve not seen you show disrespect to anyone.
Some people can’t be made happy. Leave them behind.
You sir are da man! I’m adding your blog to the blogroll now. I can’t believe it wasn’t on there before…
I have dibs on the name Randy Moss is a Douche for next year’s fantasy football league.
I will make a note of that. Consider it yours…
You are very welcome Ms. Blogger Hottie. Yes, you do know the emotions and you’re quire welcome.
P.S. James, you should know Tim Tebow is fair game and is going to be mocked for as long as I have breath.
I’d ask you what the emotions were but those are kind of personal and private, and really, I already know. And I thank you for saying the above. It means a lot to me. That’s all.
What about Tebow, isn’t he exempt too?
New here, but WTF? You are awesome!!!!!
I’m liking your style.
Thanks! I’m going to go check out your blog in a few minutes
Dude keep doing what you’re doing. LIfe principle we sometimes forget- “you can make some people happy all of the time, all of the people happy some of the time, but not all of them happy all of the time” Its your page, if you want to put pictures of monkeys taking a shit on it thats your business. I’ve read some of the most personal stuff on blogs, and I mean make me blush, personal; you don’t fall into that extreme category. If somebody thinks that talking about flirt texting is, in some way, a slap to women…or taking… Read more »
I totally agree with you dude. I just figured that I would clear the air and let people know that you can be edgey without being a complete twat. See, that was an example of that. Some people will get pissy about my use of that word, but I was directing it towards myself, so who gives a shit? You are the man! I’m totally digging your blog and other people should dig it too…
Great post…I’m a woman and have never been offended by what you write. Your writing is honest and funny. The funny thing about blogs (or anything else on the internet) is that if you dont like it–you don’t have to read it! No need to put others down for being honest.
I’m gonna let you in on a little secret about blogs. I have a number of blogger friends and I love their blogs. No matter how great anyone’s blog is, the reality is thatI have yet to find a blog (including mine) where I like every single post. As you mentioned, the beautiful thing about this is that if you start to read something and you don’t like it you have three options:
1. Hit the back button
2. Close the window
3. Keep reading, but don’t get mad at the writer if you choose to go this route.
I don’t think you’re a douche. I think tHe twittosphere likes to have someone to put down at all times though.
Those are the douchies.
I’m not cool enough for Twitter, so I can’t speak to that, but when it comes to the blog postings you’ve mentioned, you’ve said nothing which requires apologies! You know I have no qualms about calling you out, in this forum or any other, but there’s simply no reason for it (and please note that’s coming from me, the left-of-Socialist, P.C. bleeding heart liberal). You addressed the importance of self-exam for breast cancer with some humor, which makes the subject more accessible to those who may still feel uncomfortable talking about it. Encouraging people to take a more pro-active approach… Read more »
Baby, you’re the greatest! You are the best person here to comment about these things because you and I have known each other since I was a senior in high school. You know who I am and how I roll and I totally appreciate you having my back. I’m gonna keep trying to get away to the Big Apple for a few days so I can come see you in a play…
Once again WTF I am not really a comment reader as comments tend to make people write, say and do things they regret (whether they are the blogger or the commenter). I am not really a comenter either lol but to think that any of your post are put downs or hateful toward women is ignorant. IMHO people who are so small minded can’t or won’t be changed you can never sway them to your side its their way or no way. If whomever you were hot and heavy DM with had written the post the majority of folks would… Read more »
Damn, Dana, That was so freakin sweet. Thanks.
