- I’m silly, curious, and open-minded. I feel like these are positive traits, but they’ve gotten me in trouble at workplaces on a number of occasions.
- I’ve been told before that if I act like a child, I’ll be treated like a child. Yet, I never received ice cream for my awesome drawings at work, and I never got a nap time, so what gives?
- The farther I get from my child state, the more boring and sad and emotionally withdrawn I become.
- Sometimes I get sulky. Especially when I’m hungry or tired.
- I’ve said this before, but fart and poo jokes are funny to me.
- When you don’t act mature or confident about everything, then people assume that you don’t really know what you’re talking about, or you’re too young, and they want to consult ‘experts’. But the thing is, I’m actually a pretty smart guy, and I’m right a lot of the time. I just don’t always ‘act right’ all the time.
- We are all kids on the inside. Even the hardest gangster likes playing video games sometimes.
- I love…chips!!
- I don’t like it when people are mean to each other; I don’t like being around people who are having angry arguments.
- I’m not stupid and I’m not naive. I just hate the trappings of what we consider to be civilized adulthood. I try to put on the costume of an adult when I can, but I’m not great at it. I’d rather just be a genuine me. But I can’t always be a genuine me. And sometimes that makes me frustrated and irritable. I know I need to figure out how to deal with that….
Hear, hear! I hope that as long as I live I have the good sense to act like a kid most of the time. Life isn’t worth being too serious, and adults don’t seem to get enough joy out of just being alive.
Totally!
