MIKE PATRICK GOT THE ELECTRIC CHAIR AND LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT . . . the electric wheelchair, that is. You see, when I was a junior in high school, a football injury left me a quadriplegic. An athlete unable to walk. A student unable to turn the pages of a book. To me the electric chair seemed like a death sentence - the end of the world as I knew it.
