Sometimes, writing is the only way I can breathe again.
I’ve realized that if I don’t write about my feelings, they sit heavy inside me — until they start affecting my mental health.
So here I am, trying to let it all out.
The Roller Coaster
Right now, my life feels like a crazy roller coaster.
Career-wise, things are okay. I’m going with the flow — some ups, some downs — but that’s not what’s bothering me.
The part that hurts is something more personal.
The Love and the Difference
I’ve written before about my relationship — the good parts, the cultural differences, the things that made it special.
But there’s another side to that story — the part that doesn’t get told often.
Because those same cultural differences that made our story interesting also became the reason we started to drift apart.
We fought — a lot.
We took the stress.
We tried to fix things.
But eventually, we decided to end it, thinking about our future.
It wasn’t because we didn’t love each other.
We did.
We still do, in our own ways.
But sometimes love isn’t enough when the differences between two people start turning into insecurities.
The Aftermath
I miss her.
Every day.
I still want to talk to her — and she feels the same.
But every time we talk, it ends in a fight.
And then I can’t focus on my work for hours. Sometimes, it takes days to feel normal again.
It’s crazy — how the brain works, how emotions work, how love can feel like both a home and a hurricane.
We block each other to heal, but we can’t stay away for long.
We reach out, we talk again, we fight again.
The cycle repeats.
Maybe We Just Need Time
I think what we both need right now is time.
Time to heal.
Time to grow individually.
Time to understand what love means beyond the chaos.
One day, we’ll talk again without fighting.
We’ll be friends — or we’ll quietly wish each other well from afar.
We’ve promised one thing to each other — no matter what happens, we don’t want to become enemies.
We can’t hate each other.
We loved each other deeply, and that love will always be there — even if we move on with our lives.
I want her to be happy.
Healthy.
Successful.
She wants the same for me.
We don’t know what the future holds — together or apart — but I just want both of us to find peace.
To be happy, in this moment, in this life, however it unfolds.
If You’re Going Through Something Similar
Let yourself feel it.
Let yourself write it.
Sometimes, putting pain into words is the only way to make space for healing.
You don’t have to have all the answers — just the courage to keep going.
