‘Hoppers’ Is playing now in theaters
Pixar has been hit or miss with their animated films lately. Don’t get me wrong, they have been good but not as strong as they have been in the past. When I saw the first trailer for Hoppers it seemed like it had the potential to be a fun film. I was able to attend a screening of this animated movie and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for this animated film here:
Animal lover Mabel (voice of Piper Curda) seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. As she uncovers mysteries in the animal world beyond anything she could have imagined, Mabel befriends charismatic beaver, King George (voice of Bobby Moynihan), and must rally the entire animal kingdom to face a major, imminent human-threat: smooth-talking local mayor Jerry Generazzo (voice of Jon Hamm).

This movie gets 9/10. It was back to form in a good way for original films and takes audiences on a thrilling adventure. There are some unexpected twists and turns and friendships get tested a couple times. We see creatures prepared to take huge risks to get what they want, and stopping them won’t be easy. Once this story comes to a close, a few lessons are learned and life for Mabel is certainly going to be different from now on.
