If you are a parent, you have the biggest responsibility to free your children’s spirits. Let them be themselves, let them shine.
–
A free spirit is true to their own self. A free spirit creates from the heart and loves from the heart. The free spirit does not judge. The free spirit does not control anyone but themselves. The free spirit is rich in the things that matter – the things you can’t buy. The free spirit practices forgiveness. The free spirit knows the value of nurturing other free spirits.
A spirit becomes trapped when a person grows up with trauma or abuse and then goes on to inflict trauma or abuse on the next generation. The trapping of the spirit begins when a child is abused or goes through trauma. The spirit is knocked down. The spirit gets trapped. The spirit becomes confused and doesn’t know how to act, so it remains trapped. The individual practices its learned behavior on others and remains with their spirit trapped. This pattern could potentially go on forever. It can cycle and repeat until eternity. Trapping spirits everywhere.
How do you spot a trapped spirit? You might see it in the defiant child, if you stopped to see the child differently. Perhaps the child acts out because he is being abused at home? You see it in the angry people. Their spirit is so trapped that it can’t experience joy. You see a trapped spirit in the people that live their entire lives pretending to be something they are not and never knowing what kind of amazing life they could have had being themselves. It shows up as anxiety, hyper-vigilence and depression that will be blamed on things other than the trauma or abuse. A trapped spirit is unhappy, depressed, angry and fearful.
This is not good for the earth. All spirits should be free.
There is a way to free a spirit before it’s too late. Your first chance is to reach out to the troubled child or at-risk youth and give them love and confidence. Show them kindness and love and believe in them.
Recognize that the world is better when we can live in harmony together.
Practice patience in your daily life.
Learn to deescalate conflict.
Perhaps the next time someone screams at you, resist the urge to scream back and instead respond in a polite tone.
Forgive others and recognize that we are all flawed.
Take each new moment as an opportunity to free a spirit.
If you are a parent, you have the biggest responsibility to free your children’s spirits. Let them be themselves, let them shine. Nurture their hearts and love them unconditionally. Do not repeat the sins of the past.
Spread this message everywhere —> It’s not too late to free your spirit. Let the past go right here. You were born amazing and that hasn’t changed. You were attacked on the way, but you are free here today. Look at your child, a spirit like you. Don’t trap that spirit, let it rise. Free that spirit and you will be amazed before your eyes.
Let go of the anger, let go of the hate, let go of the past. There is no future when you can’t get out of the past.
