In “Previewing the Republican Convention: A Closer Look,” Late Night With Seth Meyers’ host highlights the “JV” aspects of the GOP’s national convention:
- no John Kasich
- none of the top 50 most prominent Republicans will attend
- none of the last four Republican nominees will be there
- the “first” order of business will be to declare internet pornography a public health crisis
- no major celebrities
- open-carry policy in regards to firearms within convention hall (as per state law dictates)
What are your thoughts? Is this an indication that the GOP as we know it is over?

No, it’s an indication that the nearly lifelong democrat running on the GOP ticket is hated by the GOP. FWIW, getting your news from Comedy Central is why our electorate is so ill informed both domestically and internationally.
